    Default Jaguar S Type Stereo Code.

    Hi guys. Struggling to get the code from this Jaguar S type unit. Jaguar P/N 2R83-18B876-AC. Serial JACC2020214049

    Please see attached dump. I get code 1421 but this doesn't work. no sure what im doing wrong. Any help would be much appreciated.

    If the unit is codelocked it will need to be left switched on up for up to two hours to reset before another code entry attempt is possible.

    Code Entry as Follows:

    Switch Radio On - Display Shows
    " CODE "
    Enter CODE in the order it is read - eg:
    For Example, To Enter Code 1234
    Press Preset 1 then 2 then 3 then 4
    The Code will Enter Itself Automatically

    Hi guys, thanks for your quick reply's. No unit is not locked yet but on last attempt. Not sure if there is some type of hash check or algorithm in extracting the code, logically 1421 should work. Inside was factory fresh and un-tampered.

    Hi shooting. No the unit came from a breakers yard. Are you thinking it's immo or can bus enabled? Regards kam

    Hi. How come? It powers on and I can key in the code in but the code is just incorrect. cd ejects fine. Sorry maby I wasn't clear in my opening thread. Cheers kam
