    Thumbs up MagPro x17 vs KESS Oryginal

    Hi!

    I consider buying Genuine OBD Flasher.
    I have read many threads comparing MagPro and KESS and everybody say:

    "If You have money, buy Kess v2 if You do not have money buy MagPro2 x17"

    But I think that its not true beacouse as I know:

    MagPro2 x17 costs 4690 EURO+ VAT (In Polen 23%) That gives 5760 EURO
    Kess Master costs 1500 Euro + Car nad Van protocols 2900 Euro that gives 4400 Euro.

    Kessv2 subsxription cost 1000 Euro -12 Months
    Magpro2 x17 subscribtion costs 400 Euro - 12 Months

    So after 3 Years
    Kessv2 Costs: 6400 Euro
    MagPro2 x17 costs 6500 Euro

    And after 3 Years of using MagPro2 x17 is cheaper to use.


    But:
    MaxPro2 x17
    does not do older cars EDC15 and only newer EDC16.
    Kess v2 do every Ecu since 2000 to today.

    So if someone came to me with older Car i have to have other device.

    On Kess I can always buy Truck and Agriculture protocols if I need.
    While if I buy MagPro2 x17 if i want to do trucks or Agriculture i have to buy other device.

    Comparing everything I think that Kess is better option beacouse of more protocols (older cars), avalible to do trucks and agriculture.

    Why then many of You recommend to buy MagPro2 x17 if uts cheaper but after 3 years. and while 3 years it gives less then Kess?

    ---------------
    X17 + OBD + TRICORE BOOTLOADER
    Kess v2 + OBD + PLUGIN TRICORE €
    Kess v2 + Ktag = full
    I have both tools
    However, they are excellent tools
    Good customer service.
    Ecu powered, Dtc, Egr, Dpf, Throttle, Flaps, Lambda, Hotstart, AdBlue, Evap, Nox, Speed limiter, Dynotest development.

    if you buy X17 you will get 3 files DPF EGR ... for free/mth from helpdesk

    So MagPro2 x17 subscribption cost almost the same 650E +VAT = 800Euro.
    For DPF off and EGR off i got Genuine Swifetc so 3 files a month do not give me too much.


    So why MagPro2 x17 is better then Kess v2?

    What About Autotuner?

    I think that in near future you will need more than one tool. Every tool has advantages and disadvantages. Think about support. Founder of Magicmotorsport is from Poland so: "Dobre bo polskie".

    Yes I know that I need more i do Have Now:
    Kess China, Kess Eu, Ktag Eu, Galletto Ch, Mpps v16 Ch.
    But want to have sth oryginal that makes most of cars through OBD on start. When in 6 month will have many customers and will see that need sth more then will buy sth more.
    I know that Magpro2 x17 is Polskie
    I support po Polsku sie przyda

    But Kess v2 do more then Magpro l2 x17 for the same price.

    On Kess Eu5. 017 clon i have sonetimes that car is on the list but cannot connect with it. And do not know if it is beacouse of clone or oryginal have same problem.

    Any user of Autotuner?

    To cover most ecu you need KESS + KTAG that's where X17 is better

    BTW. EVERY TOOL HAVE SOME BUGS no matter how much money you spend

    only one tool? please this not enought to do job on Market.

    And autotuner..... they not have subscription, how they have money to do job and update when people finish buy tool. Check mpps, no subscription no updates...

    Aaaa now i understand Magpro2 x17 does less older OBD Ecu's but new car make the same as KESS v2
    But it does also what KTAG does.

    Then MagPro2 x17 is much more cheaper then Kess + Ktag.

    As I said I do have clones but am starting and cannot afford buying genuine :

    Swiftec, Winolos, Dyno, Diagnostic interfaces and all Chiptunning devices at once that I need.

    I have to choose one and if have more customers then can buy another.
    But want to buy genuine as soon as possible.

    Maybe now they want to gether customers and after a year they will start to have subscribtion?
    Or like Tesla made first customers have free charging on Turbocharger but new customer have to pay?
    Maybe same day they will start taking fees from new customers?
