    Default Simos pcr2.1 writing problem

Hello to all i have a problem on ecu pcr2.1 , need to do egr off , this my first time to work with pcr2.1 , I connect kess v2 and read ecu id kess give me the ecu is unlocked , i ask my friend because this my first time on pcr2.1 he told me you need to do manuly unlock to be sure the ecu is 100% unlocked .
i do manual unlock and see that ecu didn’t open before (factory condition) . At this moment told my self impossible this ecu is unlocked from factory.
Finally: the ecu writing modified file at 100% give ecu writing error .
when writing ori file , no problem writing full flash file without any problem.
need to know where is my problem.
    Thanks

I had similar problem some time ago.
I used VCP and I write file FRF. Next- I unlock ECU. I read ori file , I did over again , later writing did not make up problem.

I think, if ECU does not be unlock , writing ori file is not possible!

Some one told me to restore eeprom ori backup because the ecu is already unlocked, if you repat unlock on unlock the ecu becomes locked.

    hello
    for pcr2.1
you have to read flash and eeprom
    eeprom : unlock it
flash : remove what you want to remove - with winols or swiftec - for ex : dpf egr off
    after you write
the verry good tool to write on pcr 2.1 is galetto
    good luck

Yes. When you unlock unlocked ECU it became locked again. Write original EEPROM and write modified flash.

Hey. When identifying KESS what do you write in this window? Look at the screen.
