Default FRM3 d-flash programmation error message

    Hi,

I use upa since a short time and i have a bad issue.

I read a MC9s12xeq384 from a BMW FRM3. i read it without problem (p-flash, d-flash and eep). Eep was corrupted ans i restore the file with d-flash data. i try to format D-flash and eep to write it but i can't write d-flash, i have this message :

    Detected Oscillator Frequency: 8000kHz

    FSTAT($A0) Register Error

    Programming: 1 Errors Found Device: MC9S12XEQ384 Range: 0 - 7FFF

    and no writing

but when i try to write eep, no problem

    Detected Oscillator Frequency: 8000kHz
Programming: Success Device: MC9S12XEQ384 Range: 0 - FFF

I hope that someone could help me with this issue or give me some advises?

    thanks for your help

You should not program D-flash, you should program the eee area.
If you erase the eee area it asks how much blocks you want to assign, assign all blocks to eee so you get 4KiB eee and 0 bytes D-flash.

Is this a clone or original UPA?

Hi, sorry for late answer, my problem is not solved for now. I have original UPA and xprog clone.

"If you erase the eee area it asks how much blocks you want to assign, assign all blocks to eee so you get 4KiB eee and 0 bytes D-flash."

That's what i try, but if you partition d-flash and eee, you erase the two, i try to write each separately with no prob but i can't write both. I always have the error message.

    thanks

Guided fault finding = Feature that many factory scan-tools have and real technician despise it.

Don't worry. I'll try to help you. I use to do this xprog-m programmer. Fisrtly, You must erase EEE area with parameters of eeprom:number of sectors for eeprom = 16
    d-flash = 0
    eeprom = 4096.
And then you must write Your data in EEE area.
