Opel GID SE 13178570

Hi, I have not working GID display SE 13178570, from my Zafira B 2005.

CPU seems to be working OK, but I have not consistency states on the bus to the flash memory AM29F800, do you have genuine firmware for this board ? So I can program new AM29F800 and solder it, to repair my GID ?

Black screen. Not working climatronic panel.

I have checked the bus connected to flash chip with the scope and it does not look good. Instead of signal from 0-5V I see signal from 2.5V - 5V. Somtimes it works better, better signal quality - depending on power - up. It seems the cpu is working - it tries to boot from flash.

I have connected my CD30 CAN & power buses to the GID outside the car. It does not power-up too.

I will try it. Thanks. But it seems that CPU is not trying to read anything from 93c66, I dont see bangling clock signal. Even chip select is all the time low.

Do you have the AM29F800 contents?

I have a lot of gids, but don’t have programmer to read 29xxx

ok, thanks. Are there any significant differences between different versions of GID ? Can I buy any GID to replace my faulty SE 13178570?

I have one more question, if I plug in BID display, will it work with my climatronic panel ? (I understand I wont see climatronic and fan settings on screen, however I want to know if control of the fans and other buttons will work)

There was 2 producers of GID - Siemens (2-line, ~2005-2006) and Delphi (~2007-)
There was some types of LED in Siemens (standart, superbright)

I have a lot of dead GID's. Nobody knows if it is an hardware issue or software issue. 29F800 it is not ALL. Need also the ST10F269 eeprom dump.
Please let me know if you start your GID.

Sorry, I don't have. I assumed that if it wasn't the problem firmware... wasting my time. However 50% to be an software issue and 50% to be an hardware problem.
