What key ref for golf 4

Turn it in lock position.

The horn may not sound. In some vehicles will sound in some will not...

Guys, i can't understand how the remote central locking works in Golf 4

Is it related to the Autoradio???!! cuz it's an aftermarket radio mounted

For the 00953 - interior light time limit 25-10 - unknown switch condition

All the interior lights working just fine, when opening the doors, the light comes on for about 20 seconds then off, all bulbs are okay. but still got this error msg.

Checked the fuse 14 & othes with multimeter all are ok.

I wasn't able to program the key remote using vcds, on each time, i got an error message of "bad key programming"

Even using those steps :

1. Key in ignition, turned to ON (not started, just lights on dash)
2. Doors, trunk, hood closed
3. 2nd key in drivers door
4. Turn door key to unlock position (counter clockwise) and hold approx 10 seconds until horn honks 3 times

failure at step 4, the horn won't honks, nor does the whitebox ever click

i would appreciate any suggestions.

I tried it, no success, in lock and unlock positions, driver and passenger door, nothing works, tried many manipulation, holding lock button 10 sec, and try 1 sec method, tried double click too, thr car isnt responding.

I think its the autoradio wiring that cause the problem, will check and let you know

I had same issue with a Polo. Because of the radio I couldn't connect to anything thru the obd..
Also go to remote adaptation and check how many remotes were stored previously. Some golfs don't have option for remote control...

With vcds check out the comfort module code. If it is 1J0 959 799 AH it supports the remote key. If 1J0 959 799 Q or 1J0 959 799 L it does not support remote keys.

Seems a remote key problem, will try another one

Please confirm that you have disconnected + cable on the battery 12V. For a short while.
Just for a fresh start of the modules.

Did you get a solution for the immo? Or is the main interest remote control

I will do that, for the immo its ok, it was the coil reader cable problem
The only problem is the remote now.

This key is not valid. It is suitable for Škoda not VW.

1J0959753 N - Would probably get you out of this headache.

Maybe you can call your VAG dealer, to confirm the part number fitting the vehicle.

Order one locally in EU this evening. And you should solve this by Monday.
Or maybe tomorrow, if you can get one from your local pro Locksmith.

Can I program a 1JO 959 753 CT 434mhz remote to a Golf 4 2000 year with a original remote 1JO 959 753 A 433mhz. Is it going to work because of the diference between 433 and 434 mhz?
