I'm having the same problem with a car whose alternator was charging at almost 16V.
Tried two different UPC's and the issue remains, cables seem fine...

Client brought two used alternators, didn't solve anything, we ordered a new one and charges fine, but there's always an error.

    Autel: DF051
    Bosch or Texa: B1211

It's the same error but different codes. All tell something like "UPC voltage supply control unit - open circuit/ground short"

I was trying to access those files from Louislesinge but don't seem to have permission

    EDIT:
    I can access them now!

    Cool

    Solved the problem!
Diagnostic software read a stuck battery voltage at 15.94V from battery, other values were the usual fluctuating 12V or 14V.
From the diagram I knew it had to be the red BP1C wire, and it had a bad connection behind the headlight, already had been soldered before, and the wire was too stiff, looking as if it was in contact with water.
    Thanks!

in my case it was the 5amp fuse on the side of the battery disconnect unit for the BP1C wire.
