Hello All,

Long story short. I have a Citroen C2 with TU5JP4 engine in it. I have bought ITBs for it. My initial plan was to go with a stand-alone ECU.

My main concern was regarding the swap from fly-by-wire to cable. After some reading I have found that M7.4.4 can operate the "throttle potentiometer" and "idle regulation stepper motor". At that point I have started thinking about a direct swap. From the documentation it appears that M7.4.4 can support all the other functions of the car and has the same pinout.

My plan is to buy a M7.4.4 ecu, virginize it (using KWP2000+ or MPPS) and put it in the car. I don't plan to tune the car with this ecu, just to start it with the ITBs, something like a proof of concept.

My question is - does this sound possible to you (anyone with experience in this field) or is it a total non-sense .

Sorry, if this sounds like a stupid question, but I don't have much experience. I am doing the car for a hobby and as a weekend project, however it is interesting for me to do these things by myself. Till now the only thing in the computer which I have changed was to delete the automatic gearbox from the ECU, after a conversion to a manual one.

Thanks in advance.
