Default Pioneer KEH 9000 RDS code

    Hi
Bought this radio in a lot with other old car stereos.
It was a really high end cassette deck back in those days.

Of course the code is missing.

I think there is no code generator for this radio and that some kind of eeprom PDG011 or CXK1011 has to be read.

Is there anybody here who has some experience with this and can point me in the right direction of where to start?

I have som pic and eeprom programmers, but don't know if they are correct.

I have these programmers: K150, CH341A, an old Multiprogrammer V3.5, also have a SOIC8 clip.

    Thanks

    Hi!
Any 93cXX (93C06) read is, irrelevant because the content can only be "headed" by the code .....

    Hi!

As above, @lanuva wrote about what kind of programming tools are available, so I wrote it to read as Micro Wire 93c06. It will not be a problem with eeprom if you read it. To the point, I correct that 93C46 is a good alternative because we are interested in code # 30h.
Because he only needs the code, so there is no need to write back that could cause a problem .....

    All right!

I do not have PDG or CXK eeprom here, but if you tried it and it was not good I accept it! I just tried to give you an alternative.
    Have a nice day!

    Hi, thanks for answer.

    To make it clear.
Yes I only need to read, and then probably need some help to decode the file to find the code.

Do not understand what you mean, 93C06 is a chip, programmer or reader?

Can any of my K150, CH341A, an old Multiprogrammer V3.5 read this?
