    Default Renault Clip HELP!?

    Hi everyone,

Really need some help with Renault Clip. Did the usual install method, install via setup.exe, install drivers. Computer reboots, cut the RSRWin file to the desktop and replace with the cracked version, load up RSRWin and register the CLIP. HOWEVER once doing this Clip doesn't work double click on the application and nothing happens.

So... I presumed this was because I hadn't actually plugged clip in when installing so I unistalled and reinstalled and did exactly the same as last time. However I'm now up to the point where I launch the cracked RSRWin, I double click on it and nothing happens!!?? Can I presume there's registry files I need to delete for it to open up? Any help would be hugely appreciated thank you!

First, the computer should not have an antivirus program - it can destroy dll.
Secondly, try to go to the folder where the program was installed, and run from there a shortcut, there are 5 of them.
Third, try to run as administrator.
    Write about the results.

Thanks for getting back to me. The computer has no antivirus. I've just tried reinstalling again and I can't load RSRWin to register CLIP just doesn't do anything. If I load the legit RSRWin it comes up with product activated however I did a fresh install!?

Tried running as admin as well. Really don't know what to do

I had this: put, activated, deleted, put again and is not activated because the program has already been activated and it is activated now. If nothing happens, then only reinstall Windows. For simplicity, I put such programs on a virtual system and Renault works fine on it.

Try to go to the folder where Renault is installed and find 5 program shortcuts there. They differ from each other in something functional, and maybe some of them work.

And by the way, which version of the program do you install? I installed the easy version up to 180, the more recent ones are activated somehow differently, more tricky.

Think i'm going to give up on this now, spent most of the day trying to sort it out. Finally the application loaded and it said Vehicle not found in vehicle database? The version that did work asked me to select an MTC catalogue file. That was the ClipClientSpecial

I'm using V178 as I figured that'd be the latest thus include my 2014 Renault Clio RS

If there are problems with the base of the car, then I would download another version of the program and install it on a clean virtual machine. They worked for me without asking and from the first time. Probably your installation disk is damaged.

Going to reinstall for one final time, will be installing V172 as that's the one the CLIP came with
