    Default Audi A4 B8 J519 Component Protection

    Hi, ive an audi a4 here that came as a non starter, j519 module was water damaged so fitted a used replacement with same part numbers, now all codes are clear but component is in protection mode and stil no start, (fuel pump not priming). I dont want to take the car to audi, can i clone the old j519 onto the new one? i have vcp and vcds, or would it be possible to swap the eeproms on the boards?

    Active Component Protection j519 (BCM1) in A4 B8;
    - dim counter light
    - no lighting inside the vehicle
    if the fuel pump is not working, it is not the fault of an active CP.

    and if you want to delete CP, you can rewrite the processor (Motorola on the motherboard - I do not remember what)

    I just bought a used audi a4 b8 2009 that was in a crash before, and now it has been facelifted to a b8.5 so it has gotten used parts such as headlights etc. and i have the exact problem you wrote before (dim counter lights,and no interior lights) is the problem caused by the cp? because everything else is working fine. Can i have someone to remove the component protection? how do you do it? i really need your help!

    Thanks!
