1998 Mercedes C200 Eurovox 8790 code

Howdy all,

Just wondering if anyone can help me with a 6 digit radio code for a 1998 C200 Mercedes with eurovox 8790

it's VIN is;wdb2020202f706169
Model no.;8790
Serial no.;322008048.8.

Can you put a photo with the sticker taped on the radio? It seems the serial is not good.

that was a direct copy of serial off sticker but cant post it for 12hours from now when I get back to workshop!

De-solder this diode and enter code 5341

Does that change it from 6 digit code to 4 digit code?
I'm guessing there isn't a 6 digit solution out there?

I have diode Calc but it's for 4 digit only, these can be 4 or 6 digit codes

so I removed that 1 resistor & tried that code, but it still want's a 6 digit number entered so 5341 wont work?

Hi try to unsolder 1 pin of all diode and see
Maybe working without code.

o.k. so I found a 6digit code matrix board image that's know so if they attached layout's code is 325422 what would that make the code for my original & now the modified board?

Yes, if you modify the board to this your code will be 325422 .. but you must add some diodes of the correct value

So if you can confirm that 6 digit code why can't you confirm my original or the other you told me to modify as the 4 digit code for it cant be done?

Read Post#9 again, I only have 4 digit calc, some 6 digit codes are known like the one you found but only a couple
