Could you please explain this procedure? A mate has a KTS530 and the PSG5 leads but is not sure how to do this in the bosch software.

    Thanks

Isn't that only applicable to Ford VP pumps?

I've just spoken to my mate and he says he has the software and leads but does not know what to connect on the breakout box. This is for a VP pump to be installed onto a ford transit

Are you installing a recon pump or just a second hand? Recon is a virgin anyway, plug and play. Second hand needs to be virginalised.
    where do you live?

I'm in Bolton. I think the pump is secondhand. I'm not doing the job it is my mate. I just support them with IT (ex-mechanic). He bought the PSG5 lead from fleebay without instructions.

Does anyone have instructions on how to virginize these pumps using the KTS and breakout box?

    Thanks

I'm not sure anyone who knows will give this information, but I would think that instead of trying doing it from the pump side you could try and add new pump immo code to car ECU (like you do when new immobiliser is added) . I think KTS can do it.

Too bad this solution came up two years too late.. I had to pay my ass off to local ford dealer, new VP30 was over 1500 euros installed.. I'm still very interested about this solution, maybe I will by few fets to garage just in case..

    Good job!
