the code will come up as the pump itself as long as other error codes but these other ones will clear because wen this part fails all the other will report failing because they need these one to work like the advance and retarding valve solenoids they will not work so not enough fuel is getting to the injectores plus there is no code for the transistor itself as it is part of the edc the transistor needs to be chek with a multimeter for broken circuit so once again do not play with the edc or you will regreat because if you change the transistor the car will work but for how long? and the engine will not work propely better to wait then try dodgy fixings

Hi Beamer 320, sounds like you know what your talking about.
I have my pump in bits as we speak.
I need to clarify something. You are saying it's the angle sensor that is faulty. However, if the transistor is blown, it won't work without being repaired first, therefore, are you saying fit a new ECM with angle sensor, if this is the situation? Or, replace faulty transistor and angle sensor?

    Default VP44 pump

I really would be interested in knowing if this diesel pump can be repaired instead of having to buy a Bosch "rebuilt" unit. I would think that it would be a less expensive option!

I am in France and I want to know if anybody knows a website where I could order BOSCH parts (for ex : angle of rotation sensor or solenoid)?
    Thanks.
