    Default Mondeo mk4 cluster repair

    Hi Friends.Looking for some tips how to repair ford mondeo mk4 instrument cluster.Lcd works only in half part,also lighting goes crazy.All points are reflowed.Changed lcd display from another dash no luck.

    What processor? often need to solder all the legs.

    The processor is M9512DP512 everything was resoldered also V4275 regulator replaced.

    What is flex? I replaced all screen from other dash and the same.

    Maybe you need to check some capacitors or resistors. You can use a multimeter for that.

    No it is not because I heave 2 clusters and allready swaped this screens between them and only one give result like this.Here is other one with screen taken from broken one but in this one gauges don't work.

    Probably just mcu problem.
    It's typical problem for ford dash.






    NB!!! Don't ask in PM old file password , Im not remember.

    The problem solved by change cluster with not working gauges.It was enough to resolder the mcu and wite flash and eeprom from original one.
