    Default Swift keyless 2006-2012

    Hello,

i need to add a smart key, to a Suzuki swift 2006.
The insert blade, containes a id46 transponder.
    I could clone this transponder.

The remote (keyless) part. Do i simply program this, as if it is a remote?
Does that allow starting of the car?

I have a used keyless remote, does it need unlocking?

And will buy a new insert, with clonable transponder.

    Any help would be appreciated,

    Thanks guys,

Remote not locked, so you can use used remote. It programmed manualy. All smart function and remote buttons should work after programming. I did only cars from Japan, but I think Suzuki for other markets are same. Instruction for remote programming in PM. Good luck.

As above, i did one a year ago program the blade inside the slot first, for remote timing is crucial: and sort of quick

1 Sit in drivers seat, close all doors, all doors unlocked.
2 Insert programmed ignition key (emergency blade) into ignition
3 Press door locking switch (in the drivers door panel) to lock
4 Press door locking switch (in the drivers door panel) to unlock
5 Press door locking switch (in the drivers door panel) to lock
6 Press door locking switch (in the drivers door panel) to unlock
7 Press door locking switch (in the drivers door panel) to lock
8 Press door locking switch (in the drivers door panel) to unlock
9 Press door locking switch (in the drivers door panel) to lock
10 Remove the key from ignition
    11 Insert key in ignition
12 Remove the key from ignition
    13 Insert key in ignition
14 Remove the key from ignition
    15 Insert key in ignition
16 Remove the key from ignition
    17 Insert key in ignition
18 Start engine and wait for 3 seconds
    19 Turn the ignition OFF
20 Buzzer sounds and door locks are activated Press a button on the remote - a buzzer will sound and the doors will lock and unlock, repeat this for any additional remotes Doors will lock and unlock Turn ignition ON

I know this is not the place to write but this is a question about this system ....
Anyone knows how to program a second hand ignition switch on the Swifts ?

I've installed a used ignition switch (because the original one does not open at all) and car starts ,, remote all programmed but keyless function does not work on the ignition! Keyless works on the driver's door but not on the ignition switch ,,,

I've tried several used ignition switches but same result !

Edit : Found it ! There is a small pcb inside the ignition switch housing (you have to open it ,.. very difficult) that contains a 24C01 eprom ! This has the keyless data ! I've moved this pcb from one switch to the other and keyless works now on the ignition switch !
