    Default 9s12xeq384 Programming help

Hi, I have a dashboard with the 9s12xeq384 Freescale/Motorola IC in with embedded eeprom. I see several tools that can read/write this via the canbus interface. I have searched around and can’t really find much on that chip other than a serial bootloader.

Has anyone on here programmed these chips via the canbus?

I think I have read them with ori CARPROG but its hard to remember because when I do things by obd I don't tend to remember the mcu that is inside, only year/model of car.

Xprog reads them with no issue through bdm, I know for sure.

Ok, I take my original comment back then, don't think I had much luck on fiesta's with carprog. The mileage section might would connect but wasn't able to pull dump if my memory serves me right.
