CHEVROLET TRAX with "---" in dash

Chevy TRAX from 2014

dash shows "---" instead of the real mileage.

seems to be a well know problem...

anyone knows the solution for repair this ?

BCM = 24C16 / Dash = 93C86 // km value is only in the BCM, not in dash

(car is like OPEL MOKKA, but MOKKA has different odometer)

Like in other Opels corrupted dash dump.
Recently I did Camaro with the same dashes.

i did, by OBDII , and manually , no succes
all fuses oke, cut off power for a while, resetting, dtc erase etc... no succes either

i need good dump 93C86 for a TRAX, or even maybe a Chevrolet SONIC (they have the same issues) !

Hello...I had that same problem...TRAX starts well when run..but...if only check engine lights..cluster problem...need to change...is damaged...

I have this file from 93LC86 of Chevrolet Trax cluster that displays "---" instead of the current odometer value.
Will someone be kind to repair this file for me ?

Can someone else try to help please ?
If i'll replace a used cluster, do i need to program it to adapt to the car ?
Could it be the problem is in the BCM even though i can read the km by OBD ?
Does any one understand the principle of this problem like with many other Opel/GM cars ?

Try to use other dash file, put correct vin and 4 digits of pincode from bcm. That's all

dash has security flag activated in eeprom just like the insignia that go ------ also i fix with another dump and edit vin and pin and all ok as mileage stored only in BCM

That is No.1 problem. I ain't got any good file for this cluster.
I attached the part number and the failed 93LC86 data that shows 3 dashes ( --- ).
Please advise, i got to find a solution.

So actually Jomberykaso and bubbles 69 you are saying that it is not possible to simply replace a used cluster in these cars ?

No need to buy other used cluster, only get a few dumps, put your original vin and pincode inside dumps and test in the car.
