If Anthem
If you are you breathe. If you breathe you talk. If you talk if you ask. If you ask you think. If you think you search. If you search you experience. If you experience you learn. If you learn you grow. If you grow you wish. If you wish you find. And if you find you doubt. If you doubt you question. If you question you understand and if you understand you know. If you know you want to know more. If you want to know more you are alive.
Thank you all. This really helped
Hello,
from my experience and what I saw on internet, the baseboard has more-than-less same.. There is FTDI chip, ATMEGA162, CAN chip from Microchip and GAL from Atmel...
but anyway baseboard should looks different..
The issue with repairing cable is eeprom in the ATMEGA, FTDI EEPROM isn't point of intereset, because without correct contents in small eeprom in ATMEGA cable shouldn't works properly (for full access)..
This eeprom and firmware in ATMEGA are locked by LOCK bits for uC, so cannot be read back by programmer. Where china's guyes got firmware is strange for me...
Reading protected uC is not that hard with proper equipment:
Laser, microscope and acid will do the job.
What's the cloning method in china:
1- China buy original tool.
2- Read all dumps and copy the hardware.
3- Build clone hardware with those dumps.
4- That firmware become blacklisted and user must use those dumps with the correspondent software.
5- China buy new version of the original tool and the cycle starts again.
ok, I agree, I heard this story.. but I don't beleive that is still cheaper than other way.. (like stole somewhere else)
Thanks !!!![]()
Very usefull

you can read the upa manual how to connect, but even connected you will not be able to read it if the fusebits were configured in such way which will not allow future programming
