Ufff Abrites means that is expensive. +30.000 euros key programmer

keyline will ensure quality , however with keyline its normally quality but expensive , add in abrites to the mix and its unlikely to be cheap . and a bit late , tango have had toyota sorted for some time now

This is the start list, not very extensive, already out of date, but will be added to as Abrites convert existing modules.
I have always been against anything token based, but it costs the same money it would have cost me to upgrade my AD100Pro to the Smart Pro with no noticeable benefits.
Due to the high cost of buying Atribes, this was not an option for me, but now this is an ideal solution.
I would imagine those who have shelled out some serious money over the years for their Atribes are feeling a bit pissed off with this new cut price option.

i suspect a token system was always on cards as another bite at a revenue stream . however alot missing , no mercedes , no bmw , no motorcycles , no daf , no jlr , no hyundai kia , no porsche .

and 1 euro a token doesnt ring true , i doubt its 1 coin a key either , if the case then many would buy this rather than update licences , abrites are not that daft and will have built in how to make it pay them , i expect it will use multiple coins per key and number of coins will depend on complexity of the task , with both abrites and keyline wanting a payday from the tool and ongoing funds , i think you can expect it to be expensive to use.

of course the biggest problem is all the coverage listed is also available on china machines like im608 , lonsdor , obdstar etc , all token free , despite the fact that if abrites and keyline then quality will be good , it wont appeal to the price cutters that are flooding the market , and i suspect the token/coin costs will eat away profit .

each to own , but i dont see it as an exciting release or anything ground breaking , another tool aimed at new starts

It takes 13 coins per complete job, inc pulling pincode where applicable, similar to MVP costs unless you buy in bulk.
Like any new product, it was never going to launch fully loaded, but I'm sure it's been better tested than the disastrous Smart Pro launch.
This is only going to be used as a fill in for the models my current programmers don't cover, and I turn away.
The one thing that is certain, is that its not going to go "end of life" 12 months after I've bought it.
I think we've all got a few of these at the back of our garages gathering dust.

so 13 euros per car ? ouch .

full key package with avdi at last promotion was around 14k , taken on lease purchase would have been £329 per month for full key coverage plus token free . which looks expensive , however at £13 a token after 3k to buy the unit 20 jobs a month or so will work out cheaper buying outright on lease purchase , then in 5 years when paid for its still token free .
with the listed coverage it would be cheaper to buy token free on lease purchase as no bmw or mercedes on list , at £13 a token and never ever token free it will end up as a dust catcher , on lease purchase the tool will move into profit and be token free for life , just makes more sense to me and tax deductable too .

though if a full system kept up to date with latest releases then adds some value as a token unit ongoing , as long as abrites and keyline dont fall out along the way , as most programming is now online it only takes a fall out between them to make it a brick , and once they have you they can raise token prices and add in extras like ams , sps , additional leads etc and theres no choice but to buy.

i remember avdi when all updates were free on what you owned , then came ams , then came sps , without annual ams you cant use the servers , without sps you cant get support or even email enquiries answered , so i suspect there will be these ongoing costs after year 1.

but it will be good reliable software though
