Default 2008 Ford F150 eeprom help

Need help identifying the eeprom on this 2008 F150 board. I included some pics and circled what I believe is the eeprom that holds the mileage. Eeprom says TJA1040. Few questions if anyone can help.

Is the eeprom circled the correct one for mileage?
What eeprom would I use in carprog to read the bin?

I also included a picture of two carprog cables. One is labled A1 and the other Ford. From reading the forums here it seems I can also correct mileage via the OBDII port.

Are any of these cables the one's to use?
If it isn't what carprog cable would I use?

There is no eeprom for mileage, it's in the 9s12 processor. pads on the back of the board and no disassembly required.
Please DO NOT PM me asking for help.

Post in the forum, that is what it is here for.

No eeprom, it has 9s12 processor, with 4 wires you can read and write that.

No mate A4 cable is only to read eeprom...you have to use A10 cable to read motorola processors

I got everything hooked up. Now trying to figure our which processor to select. You guys posted that its a 9s12 processor but there's a bunch to choose from. I went to MOTOROLA and selected HC12 V0.4. Which one would I use?

    Decisions, decisions.

I use a cheap Digiprog clone for these, done in under 5 minutes without removing anything.

IMO Carprog is crap for doing dashboards.

So if no disassembly of the cluster is required how does one know what processor to select in carprog without first looking at the processor once you open it up?

Also, this might be a dumb question but does the cluster need to be powered up to read the bin off the processor?

Please forgive my lack of technical knowledge here but which one is the VCC on this diagram? I looked it up online and its supplied voltage so would it be the 5V or the 12V?
