did anybody get to the bottom of the 500 flashing light issue? am i right in thinking its a mcu fault? programming? had customer with one today, only started after battery went completely flat and jump started apparently. he is taking it to repair place that have quoted 2 hour turnaround including removal and refit so i cant see it being something too involved?

asked customer to get the old parts, repair place refused under wee regulations. which leads me to think again that nothing is actually replaced. either that or they know as soon as we see the part we will know how to repair!

Shame, logic would be from customers point of view “their my parts, i own them, give them back you fud”
or at least had the option to take photos to “show the wife, her car, she paying”

or look to see if that company are weeeeee certified

something about if item specific to something or some crap

    look under execmptions.

Even photo of identical parts if they already been “disposed of”

next time spray ultraviolet ink over circuit board and check when comes back when warranty gone

I have the same problem when indicating right. I'll be removing the cluster soon to take a look at the board components. Is there a schematic or details available of what the correct values on the board should be? Thanks

I changed them all, but the dimly lit LEDs disappeared after I had changed the outer ring of LEDS (warning lights). I've only managed to test it on the bench, still got to test the indicator issue once it's back in the car.
