VW me7.5 KTAG WRONG PROTOCOL?

I try to make full bdm Reading of a VW TT with

Me7.5 ecu....

I can see the same ecu in KTAG with protocol p53

But when I try to read it KTAG have only flash with AM29F400BB....

Mine ecu is with AM29F800BB

It is safe to reading the AM29F800BB.

as AM29F400BB?

(I have two same ecus to clone, and they are from a working cars...)

Get right protocol, there are a lot different hw version in med7.5

but in ktag 7020 i can't find the ecu that i have......

This one is from an Audi tt benzine me7.5 2001, i see similar but not the same......

i have find this one i have, in protocols but with different flash.... (i have am29f800 and ktag protocols have the same pcb but with am29f400.... (p53) )

for best, desolder or got proper tool for bootmode .

yes, i agree with that....

i have to test the ecus h/w, i have a second ecu to make clone and back original.....

that is the reason i prefer to read without desolder....

don't know if is good idea to use galletto 0475 on bench ..... or mpps v18(eu clone) and read - write by obd....(first i read the eeprom in bench...)

this kind of ecu haven't micro right? only flash and eeprom, correct?

Galletto read writes perfect by boot tools

5 min job.... (02:30 to read 02:40 to write..)

Ktag clone does not work with ME7.5 in boot mode. But China's Galleto can read in bootmode. EEPROM is read only by the programmer. MPPS has no problem with writing and reading via OBD and Galleto also without a problem. Kess crashed several times while writing. Therefore, do not use Kess for this. If the ECU is the same, you only need to replace or copy the EEPROM. There is no immo data in flash. Or disable immo, it is simple here.
