    Default VW Jetta MK6 01130 ABS Operation Implausible Signal

    Hi,

    Hope member who may have experience similar can chime in.

    I have a permanent light on my dash showing ABS/ESP and a red brake icon on the speedometer side.

    When the light first came on. I can clear it by pumping my brake, and it will go away for a few days, and came back again, and gone through the same cycle until it the 3 fault light will light up again the moment the car hill assist is activated. Hence, stop engine, pump, start, light goes away and works on and off when hill hold is activated when I am at a slop.

    I have turn off hill assist, and tried disabling everything related to ABS/ESP etc.. but now the light stays on, but the car, brakes etc all works normally.

    Running a scan using VCDS shows 01130 ABS Operation 008 - Implausible Signal
    Tested all ABS/ESP wheel speed output and everything works normal.

    For now. The lights will not turn on when I step and hold on to the brake pedal when I start the car, and the light will come on the moment I release the brake pedal.

    I have gone through several forums, and some have suggested replacing the ABS module, which I am ready to do, but there are also those still having the problem even after replacing the ABS module.

    There are suggestion of modifying the long coding adding some zero or to disable the ESP using long coding?

    Hope member here can throw some lights.

    Thanks for viewing.

    Eh... So common, so painful
    What is your ABS module part number? Let me guess - 379 AD?
    Long story short - your ABS module is toast, the real solution is to replace it with 2nd hand, 2nd or 3rd Gen module.
    Do not believe anyone who claims they can fix it - all they want is your money; and the amount you spend on repair will be close to cost of another 2nd hand module. Add R&R labour costs to that plus uncertainty about its longevity and here you go...

    ESP can be fully disabled on MK60EC1. However, I believe the "Slip control" light will stay on.
    If you're interested to try this as last effort, download AnyDesk program and drop me the ID to PM once you're near car and ready.
    I can calculate ABS module codings for:
    * Continental/Teves MK60EC1 and MK60;
    * TRW systems in Passat B6 / B7 / CC /Tiguan;
    * MK100
    ;
    * Bosch ABS8.2, ABS9.0 and ESP8.2, ESP9.0;
    * EBC 460 (UP!, Mii, Rapid, CitiGo, Fabia, Toledo, etc) New!
    *
    ... and other VW/Audi/Seat/Skoda modules.I can assist with repairing \/CDS interfaces.

    Hi.
    Thanks @hid3 very much for the input.

    It's a 1K0 907 379 BL

    2nd or 3rd Gen modules? Any suggestion on the part numbers? and I will need new long coding if I were to upgrade the module?

    Yes, I am actually prepared to have the module replaced, as these modules are really inexpensive if buying trough ebay, and it defeats the purpose If the lights is still on even with the functions disabled.

    Having said. Definitely would want to keep all safety features active, but the lights on the dash is an eyesore.

    Wow, a BL. This is something unusual and not very common.
    If you want, we can try to disable the ESP just for the purpose of experiment
