This Eeprom tssop 93C66 is write protected.
Reading the Eeprom is ok.
Can I replace it with the same tssop ordinary Eeprom
so that I can write in the new km?

hi
which tool you use to read ....???
thanks
I use Mtool - read ok but cannot write on the write protected line that are line from 0000 to 001F
take cluster apart & read/write in-circuit with upa . same thing read ok, write not ok
correction - Eeprom is not TSSOP. it's MSOP. ordered the TSSOP yesterday & got it today & I realize
I actually needed MSOP. Not sure now MSOP are design with write protected require write protected programmer?
Nothing to panic. The MSOP Eeprom need to be de-mount from the board to
do whatever you want. Replacing the Eeprom not gonna help to avoid
the write protected situation if it is not de-mount from the board.
Is not a tmsop 8? (2.9 x 2.8 mm)
