Hi to all, i have a Chevrolet Volt 2012. And i want to change ECU (AC Delco e78). I bought another one that is used.
The numbers from ecu that i bought is exactly the same as my old ecu.
Can someone please give me the Virgin file/New File for AC Delco E78.

Some of this people stick good money into good tools, but never learn to use it. Acdelco license is about 500euro.

Radule, clone the damn ecu and get back your money spent for iot...

The old ECU is dead. I kill it, when i was writing the firmware with the kess.
The only way to unlock it, is if i have the Shadow password. But i dont have it

    Check wiring diagram from ioterminal...
For this kind of ecu Andrius also has a boot pinout...
    It's easy, check wiring diagram...
    Need only 200ohm resistor...

Q: do you have access to the car from where you bought the second ecu? You could connect sps on that car and make the ecu virgin. Then, go on your car and proogram it. You know that sps can reset the ecu if it is on the car where have firstly been coded.
Post edit: or buy the bcm annd get pincode from there and try resetting the ecu
