    Default Opel Astra H Dashboard problem P0650

    Hello evryone,

    I work on Opel Astra H 2006 1.7 cdti. The problem on the car is: Dashboard sometimes work perfectly but sometimes is dead total nothing work... then put down positiv and negativ terminal put up again dasbaord works great, the car start every time normaly. And all time when i put ignition the lights front and back of the car goes ON.. Trouble cod in ECU is P0650 no communication with CIM. In other module he has fault code to not comunicating with IPC its normal fault when dashboard is not working. When dashboard working no trouble code. I try to reset UEC and REC module with OP COM and put down negativ terminal for some while than back and its worked for some houre , then again back in thah mode ... I dont know what to do , any idea ?

    may be easier to replace cluster with used one if you dont find the fix..

    A known problem is the corrosion at that model. Verify and diamantle the uec, clean it well, put it back. Also, you can verify wiring harness and ecu sockets, or even ecu could be taken water inside...

    I cleaned UEC and REC modul.... but nothing , do resolder job on cluster... nothing... i think CIM is the problem..

    if its cluster problem,then you have to resolder all the parts in the cluster especially the connector.
    you can see if cluster loses its 12v ,find pinout and put a tester lamp there if it has 12v and cluster is off,its cluster issue.If it loses 12v then you go back to where it gets the power.
