Just bought the girlfriend a different car, went to change the heater control bulbs , removed radio replaced everything replaced radio, and lo and behold no radio code with the cars paper work, any good people out there that could help a fellow out, thanks all.

open the radio read the eeprom 24c32 to get the code post your dump

The CD30 doesn't have a code, it is paired with the Display.

The OBDII tool needs to be either OPCOM or TECH2 and you'll also need an eeprom programmer to reprogram the CD30 Originally Posted by clabster
