Hello everyone, trying to make a key for my friend, its a range rover sport, '17. lost the key. i want to buy a key for him from ebay. is there a specific type of key that works for this car or any range rover key will work? most likely will be from ebay. thank you in advance

KVM HPLA-19H440BD, I have vvdi and mart-tool

You know that'll be locked (i.e. can't be done by OBD) and what's involved in doing it?

U need to order the new key shape not the old one and need to verginize bcm plus replace kvm mcu its not an easy job

There are tools that allow you to remove, the kvm, read it and add a key. I do them.

Not for JLR KVM, it's not, I don't think. I've done several of these locked KVM with AKL. No issues.

What's the difference?
