Thanks Mario. I can download the 4 pdf files without problem but clicking on that just keeps taking me back to the log in page

Got it working, my interface seems to be a good one.
Is there any guide for this ? does it pulls the security pin of the ecu on an astra h ? I have a second hand ecu but don't have the code :S

Hello to all!

First of all, thanks to Fantomel and everyone else, eager to help people like me

Recently, I bought op-com interface - according to Op-com pro it is 1.67 version. With PRO version everything works w/o issues.
But I need "ADVANCED" version, in order to read Security code on my Astra H 2007.
I tried several versions, provided from Fantomel, but in all of them I got one and same error "please connect your interface to the usb port or install the usb driver".
I'm following the steps, but once I change interface to B and go back to "Diagnostics"button, I receive this error, so not even possible to chose car with K-BUS as next steps suggest.
The driver version also says 2.80 so it is not the problem either.

What would be the problem and how to solve it?
I currently cant'open the interface, as it has sticker and warranty will void.

PS: If you know another possibility to found this magical security code? I know I can contact with Official Opel dealer, but it will cost me not small amount of money, moreover if the previous owner changed this code, I will "eat the wood"

Where did you get your interface. From SKLAD66 in Bulgaria?

If so, it is in the HQ Clon version. Fantomel software works with the usual Chinese clone interface, which has a real PIC 18F458. Read the "manual" carefully. There is something like "RESTORE" there. Personally, if the cable is from S66, I would rather buy another good Chinese interface to work with Fantomel software.

Yes, the interface has been bought from SKLAD66.

So I understood it is not possible to use this one, but another CN version. Okay, I will check CN stores for something cheap

Do I need to look for specific data within the description, e.g. to have that PIC 18F458 for example?

You can probably remake the HQ Clone (S66) interface to Chinese clone. You would have to use the Fantomel file "RESTORE" and OCFlash but there is no guarantee that you will be able to revert back to the HQ version. So you will not be able to use the latest versions of Opcom PRO from S66.

What latest Opcom PRO software does the S66 now offer? (SW 21xxxxxxEN?)

The latest version from S66 is 210420b, but it requires registration. That's why I use older one.
I read about the "restore" procedure, but I'm afraid to not brick the interface, as it has warranty.

I bought an Opcom from them 3 years ago when the newest SW was 170823c (also required registration). I asked and they activated me the newer version 181022a for free without any problems. I have provided the purchase date and interface ID.

Maybe a bit silly question, but is there any benefit of using most recent software in this case?
I mean, except for extended cars database (but mine is from 2007, so no big deal) is there something as more/ better functionalities for example?
