Audi A4 dashboard with DEF on display!

Hi all!
I have this Audi A4 that as an error on the dashboard and show DEF on the display of chilometers, some one can help me ? The car now doesn’t starts...

Put log from all Ecu's on cars.

If after km set ......try rewrite all keys.

It’s maybe a corrupt dump in eeprom ??

Normally you should have pair of flash/eeprom in your dash and with that you cand program with car PIN from ecu to start the car. If you have the PIN ok in eeprom the car will start, even with Def on Dash. Use vag eepromer 1.19 to read Dash or other tool to see if you have PIN in Dash.

Mate I read with eeprom programmer and show this, what can I do?

Your Dash is in status 4, that mean is virgin. Now if you don't have backup on your original file (if deed you should see pin Nr and cluster in status 6), you need to read pin from Ecu and program Obd pin in Dash with Vcds.

If I read in status 6, I can only read the eeprom in Encrypted mode and I see this:

Try to find in your menu Bosch, and read again. You will fin more option there.

Yes I tried to read:
Read eeprom decrypted but it show an error that says you must put in newmode for read.
In mode 6 I can only read the eeprom in crypted mode !

HI. If you do not have good tools for RB4 clusters, you can try write some similar eeprom files from the same cluster 8E0920900K, the same D (D35, D36, or D37) and the same M.Year. Sometimes after writing 7-8 different files DEF is gone, if current writed file have the same crypto variant. Files must be encrypted and you must write ,,Write encrypted". Before writing of course make encrypted backup file from your cluster ! After DEF is gone You must adapt cluster to car like another used cluster replacement with VCDS. This way I've fixed three RB4 audi clusters.
Post here Your encrypted eeprom file.
