Default 2019 Dodge Ram 1500 key fob not detected

I have someone who bought an auction 2019 Dodge Ram 1500. I went to program the key, and it consistently says the key fob is not detected. I was able to scan rfh module and it said there was a problem with the passive entry antenna. I wouldn't think that would prevent it from detecting the key fob, since I am making direct contact with the button. The BCM isn't getting any faults. I tried to scan ECU but no response, though the vehicle cannot be turned on so I imagine that is why there is not response, but I'm not familiar enough with the vehicle to know.

I seem to be getting system communication, I can pull pin code and erase keys normally. When they bought from the auction it was allegedly run and drive, but there was no key received with the vehicle.

Sounds like maybe there is an issue with the key you are using. Could be the wrong type.
Or possibly bus issue. Make sure you can communicate with all modules if if any are not responding correctly unplug them from the star connector.
Make sure there isn't aftermarket remote starter.
    What tool are you using?
Also whats the ID of the key you are programming?

It's the new style fob 4A transponder for the 2019-2020 Ram. I bought brand new OEM. The first one I had used eeas refurbished, so I considered that would be the issue and bought OEM but no change.

Code Cannibal to program the key. I was able to pull the pincode. I can erase the keys that were previously programmed to the system. It seems to complete the process, and tells me to contact the key fob left top corner to the button. When I attempt this, the dash tells me the key fob is not detected. On a whim, I tried it with the previous style fob from 2018, to no effect.

Since I cannot turn the vehicle on I am not sure what modules should be responding when I scan the vehicle. The BCM, RFH, ABS, etc are all responding, but the PCM is giving no response. But other prox key vehicles I have seen the same, since the car is not on.

But since this was an auction car, I am not sure if there are underlying electric issues. But it was, like I said, allegedly a 'run and drive' vehicle.

It seems that the new versions 2019 or higher no longer allow re-use of used components.

try to do it with the online dealer.

I bought a brand new OEM with the same results though. That was my thoughts with the first key I tried, which was refurbished. But the brand new key had same results.

Same problem with Ram, went through two different sources of refurbished, kept saying wrong fob even though APP said successful program. I originally thought that somehow truck was detecting can security bypass with brute force cable, but it looks like that was a wrong assumption. I've used the cable on probably 15 Rams, first failure.

It is either bypassing or pulling without displaying. It's on the code cannibal. It did allow for successful erase of keys, so however it is accessing the system seems to be functional.

Now since the car had been wrecked, they removed all doors and seats, and the center armrest console area. Is there any essential antennae located that would have to read the key? I had believed it would be located by the button since you contact there to program, but perhaps not. Or having the others disconnected is preventing proper programming.

I don't have the code cannibal so i cant help with that.

The PIN code is stored in multiple modules. BCM, RF-HUB, LF modules ect.
There is a low frequency module located under the console as well as a couple other places, but I can't imagine if it was bad that it would keep you from programming a key.
I guess its possible but like you said, the key node has its own antenna.
Check all the modules you are communicating with to make sure they have the correct VIN programmed and that might let you know if your dealing with a replaced module.
Regardless thats a fault that has to be fixed though and might move you in the right direction
I worked on a flood ram 2500 truck a short while ago that had every module replaced and they were all from different vehicles
Personally I would move to ruling out your tool being the issue by trying to factory program
Or maybe sending the data log to the company and see if they can parse out the error
