Default Transit Van MK7 won't start, immobiliser light flashing fast help.

The little red light flashes as normal when ignition is off, but changes to very fast when it's on, tried programming new key still no joy, checked key ok, checked key ring sensor ok, tried programming new key no joy, checked all fuses ok, any one came to solve this sort of issue? is there hidden immobiliser fuses I can't see? Thanks in advance.

Thanks teerak2uk will look into your advice, I was also having conversation with my partner and said the fuse box near the battery gets rusty and corroded therefore take all the fuses out including relays and clean all connection this may help, and said the last thing could be the ECU fingers crossed.

Did you read the flash code from the red light ? when it flashes quickly on and off it will do this for a minute or 2 and then it changes and flashes a code at you , ie it will flash once then stop then flash 7 times , this is flash code 17 , look up what it relates to when you know the flash code , it will keep flashing this code at you until you turn ign off.

is their an active alarm ? even if its been silenced . is their power to the obd ? are the interior lights working when you open the door ? if interior lights not working they share circuit with obd so likely to be a fuse in the 2nd rear fuse box behind the 1st box in the passenger side glovebox. so many possibilities.

if you have a j2534 or any obd usb wire you can used forscan to scan and make any adaptions needed like paramter reset and many more function... forscan is free to use on trial basis... I have a 1year license because it has helped me out alot of times when I was stuck because other scanners did not have functions... you can also do key programming as well ... i did a 2020 f150 the other day with forscan good luck
