Default Acura CSX - did anyone tried to program key?

2006 Acura CSX - Canadian version of Honda Civic. Supposedly same system.
Tried to program spare key today, spent like 1 hr, no luck at all. Tried 3 different tools - AutoProPad, Autel iM508, Lonsdor K518iSE. All communicate with the car, all tell to do same steps, but at the end there is the question on the screen - is IMMO light is OFF? NO, IT ISN'T! New key not programmed, still remains unlocked. Tried 3 different keys - 2 original Honda keys, unlocked by Tango, one Chinese key. Absolutely same result.
Tried under Acura and under Honda Civic - no difference.
All have FCC ID as original customer's key. Tried to do all keys lost - original customer's key was programmed back to the car, new key - not programmed. Before AKL it was 4 keys in memory (Max - 6 keys), after AKL - one (original customer's) key.
    Just crazy.
Any idea what's going on? Even if key would be incorrect (which was not the case), chip still should be programmed to the car and locked, but it remains unlocked!

If you have one try Phiillips 46 chip that is blank, the APP phone app for that car says it needs blank Phillips 46. Unlocked may not be enough for this system. Might try writing with VVDI key tool if you have none in stock.

What is the crazy? - your chip is wrong

If you have HB read the original chip and upload the picture

also if you have 1 key why you not just make copy ?

I'm talking about original key/fob with buttons, integrated chip, remote programmed together with chip. It's same FCC ID, so keys are absolutely the same. Like I said - 2 key/fobs were unlocked original Honda keys, one was brand new aftermarket. It looks like chip is not correct or defective but It's hard to believe that 3 different keys were not correct, even though they had same FCC ID. I made basic transponder key at the end, just copied customer's chip and it worked, but it's not what customer asked for.

Follow up. I'm feeling totally confused. Today I had 2006 Civic, with EXACTLY same result - key can not be programmed, immo light does not go off at the end. Also tried few different keys, but this time including VVDI XN key (with integrated chip), so THERE IS NO WAY that problem in the key. Tried with tools: Autel iM508, Lonsdor K518iSE, AutoProPad, SKP900. All tools give EXACTLY same result. I'm following screen procedure, but may be something needs to be done differently? So what can be wrong? 10 different keys can not be defective all together (all of them showing "unlocked").

You have to check wires going to key antenna sometimes remote start system is hard wired into those wires... they usually cut one of the wires and spilt it into remote start bypass module... Ive had problems like that a bunch of times... it does not hurt to check 3screws pop cover and you can see wires clearly. Good luck next time.

Well, you know what's most funny? In both cases original key works perfectly, and if I choose "all keys lost", original key gets programmed back to the car without any problems (while all other old keys are removed), but new key, which I also trying to program at the same time, is not programmed! I guess if someone would mess up with wiring, original key wouldn't get programmed back to the car as well? It's just joke, I don't know what to think. All my keys are bad, including VVDI keys?! Then how VVDI keys get programmed to other cars, but not to 2006-2009 Civic?!

Original keys is prolly the key that is stored in antenna bypass... basically every times immo checks for key its always seeing original key id... easy check try all keys lost with regular non transponder blade or take the electronics out of original key then proceed to do all keys lost... if it says programming successful then definitely bypass installed....

I don't think this was the case. Original key was broken in half (key blade separated), but remote still was working. There is no way to program remote separately on 2006-2009 Civics, so it was complete original working key. When I did "all keys lost" it programmed back to the car and was working again including remote, and programmer indicated 1 key programmed to the car (down from 4 in the beginning). I ended up moving electronics from original key to new case/shell, but nevertheless I need to figure out what's going on because this is just ridiculous.

I had same situation with Civic from that year (06-09). Ended up by cloning the chip. Remote can be programmed manually if I remember correctly

Unfortunately not. Only with chip together. Some programmers have option to program remote for this car, but it never worked, tried many times. Manually this car also doesn't accept fobs.

Ok, follow up on this, I hope this will help someone avoid mistake. So - cars in question - 2006-2009 Acura CSX, 2006-2009 Honda Civic, story see above.
At the end it turned out that all keys which I had (and had like 30 of them!) were either defective (brand new China) or not working properly (used original keys).
Here's a thing about original keys. I used clone of Tango to "renew" these keys. It seemed to work, ALL of my tools show these "renewed" keys as unlocked. But car just doesn't see them, no matter what. Not a single chance. I'm not sure if problem was that Tango was a clone (not original), or this function doesn't work properly on original Tango as well. So all these "renewed" keys are simply useless now.
I also want to confirm one more time - there is no way to program remote separately on these models.

I also found few sources saying that 2006-2009 Civic key can be reused without renewing - can anyone to confirm this?

Oh, yeah - in one of the previous posts I mentioned that generated VVDI key also didn't work. I'm not sure what kind of bad luck I had with that car... But when I tried again recently - VVDI key works, programmed without problems.

Please tell us what procedure you tried...
