    Default Help BOSCH EDC17CP14

    Has any user been able to read this ecu?
    ECU BOSCH 0 281 017 928 EDC17CP14
    VAG JETTA 2.0 TDI 2012


    KTAG and KESS clone PCB RED gives error
    "MICRO PROTECTION ACTIVATED"


    check various videos over the internet, but none with this kind of ECU.

    Hello,


    EDC17CP14 it should be possible to read via OBD with kess, not guarantee 100%, but almost all that i had read with kess.

    what protocol you use ? change protocol

    I have read with clone Kess 5.017 and clone KTAG 7.020 I have had some issues like this.

    Are you trying to read with protocol 151?

    Go to Protocols --> Tricore Bootloader --> EDC17 VAG TPROT 8/10 ---> Select Protocol 425

    Pinout is the same

    I have tried with KTAG clone and it comes out micro protection
    Original KTAG gives connection error


    I have tried all the protocols and it gives the same errors


    the ecu works very well in the car without problems.

    You can try galleto if you have, always when ktag doesnt want to read galletto does...

    Thank you all for the help and guidance provided.


    I have fixed the problem.


    protocol 425 BOSCH EDC17CP14 XROM TC1796 VAG TPROT


    With the KTAG clone charger I had power problems, I used the original KTAG charger in the KTAG CLONE and I could read the ecu without problems.


    In short, the problem originated from food.
