    Default Digiprog 3 corrupting files (frozen mileage)

    Hi , can someone please school me , my digiprog 3 has now decided to corrupt any thing I program, now x2 dashes frozen , both 93xx series eeproms , can I erase the eeprom and try to program again? I have a new digiprog 3 unit now but wanted to check here first,

    What car are you talking about?, maybe your clip are damaged or Digiprog green adapter is damaged.

    I have have this problem on toyota hilux 93C66 and also on isuzu d-max , have been able to do the hilux many times with same clip , changed clip still frozen dash on both vehicles , if I erase can the digiprog 3 make a new healthy program? Or does it not work that way?

    For safe job always need save original ,so......for eeprom by better simpel eep programmer.

    Hi , i do have a EZP2010 unit , will that be ok? , but i need calc software to use it though?

    mate your problem is not Digiprog3, problem is your poor pin connection on reading.You must recognise a correct reading and verify also with your tool and visual inspecting . Compare your bad read dumps for Denso Eg: on the first 00 line it has to start with 80FF 80FF, usually when is a bad pin connection digiprog3 will show you numbers Eg: 2F46, ADF3 whatever numbers you get there in instead of 80FF, it means that you have a poor pin connection, then the complements of 0000 FFFF will get wrong calculated by your Digiprog3 tool and will result in freezing Mileage....

    Oh I see , I'm still learning all this you see , i threw away the old blue test clip for a nicer 3M one , worked a charm up until now , is it possible to modify the dump on the digiprog 3 or will I have to use a different method to "unfreeze" it? Also what actually causes it to freeze is there something not right with the checksum ? Byte swapping?

    you forgot to mention from what car and year is this read off and mileage?? ....ori mileage is 242556km
