VW Touran EDC16U1 which tool should be used?

The car is Touran 2.0 PD AZV engine 136 LE with Bosch EDC16U1.

Which tool would like to use for read and write without problems. I always use battery charger during the read and write.

I know that Kess V2 some has a problem on OBD and could be fail during the writing.

Which one is better MPPS V18 China (best pcb 2019)
Or Galletto V54 Fw475 ?

I would like to do just EGR off and Hotstart whether it should let the tools correct the checksum during the writing.

Any would work, if you want to choose then galletto for vag edc16

mpps v18 is safe on this ecu i did a hot start and popcorn limiter on a family members golf mk5 with this ecu no problem at all

Today i read and then wrote the software twice to the EDC16U1 in Golf MK5 using MPPS. I can recommend it. Reading took about 5 minutes, writing about 7. The only thing that I did was getting the battery charger connected just in case.

Does Mpps do full read of flash?
Do u usually use For EDC16U1 CAN or Kline ?
Battery charge is a basic eq which should be in use

use mpps will be ok for this old ECU... all read by obd will be partial read only maps...
for full read use BDM - you will need to open ecu ori genuine ktag in bosch service mode withouth opening the ecu

With Honda EDC16C7 it is full read by OBD 29f802 flash just I'm ask that maybe U1 has the same flash 29f802 and could be a full read, but I'm not sure about.
