About upa programmer or how I have seen that UUPROG-S write out there.
In a post I read that it can read S912XHY256 for dash renault clio 2017. The case is looking at the specifications of the original this mcu is not mentioned. why ?

Can you explain to me why the MCU S912XHY256 doesn't come in the list? Users here say that if you can with UPA.

You need to inform from original site about what MCU is supported. I can check tomorow if your MCU is supported by the original Uupa-s.

Great friend. Do you recommend it to me? I mean, it would be my first original tool to do more complex work beyond programming simple eeprom. My only tool has been DP3 clone, as an eeprom programmer it is vastly quite good and via odb it does some good work, but for modern vehicles it is very obsolete. I think the time has come to invest in some new original tool to program mcu (I never dared with dp3 clone). Perhaps you know of an even better tool at a similar price. Your opinion for me would be very valid.

Hello to all. Upa is a programmer at firs place, you will need some additional programs to make your work. If you can find scripts for upa you can use them on your upa. It is very stable and reliable programmer, most of devices on list of programmer don't need lifting pins or additional work, but as I already said upa is only a programmer.

I thought that with the program that comes when you buy upa it would be enough. I understand then that there is other software compatible with upa that will allow me to improve the performance of this tool. Right?

Hello to all. With soft from elrasoft you will be abble to read,write,verify,erase, mod bin file manually. You can make or find scripts ( little program inside upa for calculating mileage, clear airbag and so on )for upa. But the package from elrasoft is programmer and soft to run it only. I personally like upa because it is easy to use and it is safe to use with 99% of supported mcus.

Thanks for your answers. I think I'm going to buy it. If someone has something else to wish for, I will be very grateful to hear it. I hope I can get the full potential out of this programmer. I have really heard people speak very well of it, although it is expensive for me, I think I can get the most out of it.

You can use clone adaptors with original device, but regarding the performance it depend by the quality of your adapters.
