    Default Skoda Octavia Clicking Noise

    Hi ppl,
    just a quick1 plz, skoda octavia I, clicking relay noise coming from what seems the hazard button, changed the switch but still keeps clicking, second one like this iv come across in a year, and "common faults" on this??

    JUST HAVING LUNCH, TRY SETTING A/C TO REICIRC, DAMM CAPS LOCK properbly a 'sniffer' mottor for a/c it 'sucks' the air in for a temp reading.

    like farting and smelling it to see if it stinks.

    If you have replaced the hazard light switch then it will be you ind stalk. Try spraying a shedload of electrical contact cleaner into it and work it up and down a few times,this may work,if not new stalk and you need to remove the steering wheel to get to it.

    Hi have you changed the hazard switch or the stalk assembly, had some of these where the stalk assembly was faulty causing the relay in the hazard switch to click rapidly but not flash the indicators.
    The hazard switch is also the indicator relay.
    I think MeatHead is thinking of the re-circulation door actuator making a clicking noise when the internal gears are stripped.

    oh yeah, was under pressure earlier.

    agree with othe rposters on hazards relay clicking

    slowly work the indicator switch up then down before you go any further
    pug's do this out 5000 pugs with this fault only 1 has cured with UB40 the other 4999 just semt to pour out white smoke!

    cristec, was thinking of the a/c sniffer but said re-circ like you said for the "blender motors"
