TDB1000 Shame

1 year ago I bought TDB1000 only to program AKL on Transit Custom 2019 with BCM JU5T as they adverted

Of course this was fraud because this tool can't do this and they wasted my 2 days with lies how I must wait to hear the horn

now I saw that they changed the description that on BCM JU5T only can add key not possible AKL

also now they advert that for vans 2019+ with the new LU5T you can do AKL with asset021 if you buy

after 1 year maybe they again will tell us that this is only to add key

Stay away froom this company they aren't better than the chinese companies

As i see it is mostly US market tool....did you search before buying if it will work on your EU market ford since i can see they have different asset for US and EU ford

Was it ship to the USA or UK, former owner of AD should know the difference. But when things don’t sell, they need a lawyer technique.

for oldest models up to ID63 work OK

on cars with ID83 is very slow and sometime crash

on cars with ID47 / 49 I never had succes

I've done at least 7-8 ID47 Transit Custom add a key without any issue.
Was the chat tech support unable to help, as they are usually pretty good.

Maybe some brands is not up to date.
But other brands have been in front.
Pick your brands, at it would be your first choise at specific vehicles. When going to a job.
Had it since it went out on the market. But not to many modules.
Only the ones, which not already had a good cover by other tools.
Developing more and more brands, as the days go by.
Supporting almost the hole register of bread and butter vehicles. World wide.

There is EU, there is Brexit and CN.
Keeping the money in your own country, is a good thing in theese days.
As we see how the election went in the US.
Better to put food on the table to others, in your neighbourhood and area.
Than to others, on the other side of the world. And they have to think the same.
You and your family, would probably personally would benefit from it in the end.

By the way 25% discount, on licenses ending 31. December 2020.

i primary using for PSA and ford. I'm quite happy with it however not my first responding tool and Greg can be "strange" sometimes

After I fail on the AKL 1 year ago I tried on 2 vans to add keys and fail after that I refused these models

How the support can help you when the tool can't do this model ???

The support was friendly but 2 days lies that this tool can do this model AKL and I do something wrong

Now they admit on their site that can't do JU5T AKL

Yes I prefer to buy UK tools and I have full Truecode and TDB1000 with FORD and PSA

I'm angry an them because I'm sure that 1 year ago they knew very well that this tool can't do the job

also I suspect that on PSA they also advert things that is not possible but soon I will check

I also have FORD and PSA but this is not my first tool for them

TDB is very slow to program ID83 keys and I prefer to copy all other old ford keys

its good to program emergency chips on ID83 smart keys

I bought PSA recently and still not used on cars that can't be done with H108 to see the difference

recently done an AKL DS3 around 2015. I was impressed bcose the pin reading is done w/o keys under 10-15 min and the cars is basically is some former car looking metal hotdog bun (bcose a huge accident and they want to check the engine is working)
again i'm happy with it

Is this tool good to precode Fiat remotes? Or beter to go for TMpro2?

The TDB1000 will precode fiat keys but you will need their clone wizard as well to do this .

i find tdb1000 to be a very good tool , being token free is great and it has an impressive coverage , yes its slower than some for some coverage but its quick and better than others on some other coverage , its swings and roundabouts , had akl on a straight forward 2014 focus last night , truecode failed and kept returning incorrect incode , avdi failed also , TDB1000 did the job quickly and without issue .

its a low cost token free tool compared to its rivals of equal price , and the coverage is growing , support is free and is excellent compared to others that you must pay for , they also answer and assist their uses outside of office hours unlike competitors you pay for support, there support from what ive seen is second to none .

some software versions on traffic 3 and vivaro derivitive can play up , what i do like about tdb is they have some dealer software patches built in , when one plays up you choose recovery and it loads patch and codes the keys , a useful feature .

psa is excellent , ford is very good and second only to AD in coverage , nissan and renauilt has also proved reliable and good too , it isnt my go to tool on all but it is becomming the go to tool on some .

it may not be a pretty touch screen tablet , it may not be as pretty to look at and doesnt have a camera and bells and whistles attached , its a basic unit with an impressive token free coverage , on some makes and models it excels and becomes the go to tool , on some it takes a little longer and gets job done , i must say that i do like it .
