i also have my tecnotest useless because i had bought it with one year locking.now i must spend 600euros to unlock it .i would be very gland if someone could help with someway to unlock the machine!!thanks inadvance.

How is the update done, throught the internet or they send it to you?

the updates are with the internet.the unlocking by a stick like
usb that i plug in the machine.there also an other way by calling and give me the unlocking code that the machine is asking for.

when you pay and unlock the machine then you can update it from internet any time you want in one year.
now the machine doesnt open at all so no use!!!

The best way to do this so i can understand how it works, if you have any software or instruction manuals in PDF regarding this machine i would recommend you post them or i'll be asking questions all the time. Also if it is possible to post pictures of the unit inside & out and this "unlocking by a stick like" you spoke about earlier

you are right ,i will post all the details about this machine as soon as possible.
my scanner is the ecureder like this TECNOTEST - 4130 REFLEX PLUS - L'AUTODIAGNOSI MULTIMARCA

but in an other machine because i use it with the screen of the tecnotest stargas898 gas analyser in my workshop.

Any news on this.

Usually to update the year use you need a smartcard and a code to activate the device. Also is possible to unlock the device so you dont need to do every year activation.

I have a smart module version V50 and V51, but when I install the program that is inside the usb could not install because it has virus and you have to desactivate the virus but not right
I hope if someone has it please send me the software
