Hey guys. I do own a VW Passat b5+ and developing canbus adapter for various functions. Would like to get info about passat b5 can bus speeds and other info like there the best place to find can bus for convenience?
As far as I know, passat b5 has two buses, one is High speed 500k and Low speed about 125k, but not sure, I also know that cluster is like a bridge between theese two speeds.
Do you have any information about this can can bus speeds and locations? OBD port is not suitable for me, this adapter has to be inserted and left there.

CAN bus types
"Different CAN buses are used for different control areas. They differ from each other in the data transfer rate.
The baud rate of the engine and chassis CAN (CAN-C) data bus is 125 kbps, while the passenger compartment CAN data bus (CAN-B) is designed for a baud rate of only 83 kbps due to fewer urgent messages. "
