Default Worst soldering of the week!!!

As suggested from another post , here’s the WORST SOLDERING OF THE WEEK!!!! Please post the worst soldering you’ve seen on a job.

I was given this Kessy and told another locksmith abandoned a spare key make on a Cayenne and then the car wouldn’t run anymore.
I wonder what he thought was gonna happen?

Two legs missing and three pads lifted.

Customer probably shopped around for best price. . Hopefully this will be a lesson learned for them that cheaper does not get you quality job .. I cannot see somebody who is dedicated to this kind of work ever doing a crap job like that.. Easy fix Dremel then solder some wires hopefully data is still intact in eeprom. Goodluck

Don't know about the worst, but this is pretty bad for a major repair company in Canada, that repairs all GM clusters.

Please DO NOT PM me asking for help.

Post in the forum, that is what it is here for.

Yeah. Data wasn’t intact. The customer’s insurance company wasn’t excited about the quote until Porsche told them Kessy’s are on 6 month back order. Lol
