    Default BMW F650GS Dakar

    Hello!
    I have a 2003 Bmw f650gs Dakar ABS.
Odometer displays ------, everything else is working fine.
After much research and searching on many forums and i understand that there may be eprom corruption or imposibility to read eprom data.
I belive this happened after i accidently used the main kill switch while running/parking (not 100% sure).
PCB is kind of clean, i already replaced some capacitors, odometer still displays -----.

Can anybody provide help with the following:
    1. what exactly do you use to read/write/view/edit eeprom data; i have basic some electronic skills, doing lots of hobby projects; i saw that 24c02 is on the i2c bridge
    2. is there any post/thread with the algo for the eeprom data ? i saw in other posts that everybody posted their original eeprom data first
    3. has anyone else encountered this problem ?

I am trying to fix it on my own, maybe i have a chance.
Any help will be highly appreciated. Here are some pics before cleaning and cap replacement.

    1. Take this file with any mileage, save it to your eeprom and mount it on the dashboard to see if it works. 2. If it works well and you need to adjust the mileage, create a new post and politely ask someone to adjust it for you. 3. Whenever help from a member is helpful, click the thank you and rep button. 4. Read the rules.... There is information about when this happens. Browser cache cleaning is one of them.

hello I found the 4 100k pullup resistors marked 104 on the sda - scl - E1 - E2 pins of the 24c02 at more than 300k, the one on sda even 600k in fact the signal did not exceed 2 volts seen on the oscilloscope. I replaced them but it continues to display dashes ------- perhaps the eeprom is corrupted? since the bike is not mine I have not tried to connect it completely but I only powered gnd - pin 1 +12 volt pin 2 +12 switched.
    Thanks in advance Mauro
