Default 2014+ GM Truck Clusters MCU

Ok I need some help getting pointed in the right direction with these. I know the mileage isn't on here, that's not what I am doing.

So Renesas is a bitch and makes it PIA to get their datasheets... or maybe I am looking up the wrong keywords but I know a datasheet would help me get moving on this. Anyone ever take a crack at these yet? Id like to be able to dump and write the MCU via in circuit programmer.

Does anyone know for a fact if GM locked these? They didn't lock any of the generations before it. Does anyone have a datasheet for the D70F3525? I figured I would start with that one since its not BGA once I get that to work Ill do the D70F3532 I was able to find a datasheet for that at one point in time.
Am I going need a special programmer for these like a Jlink or is it just Uart like a lot of older Infineon chips so I would only need software?

The point of this project is to try to make cloning the clusters cheap and easy for a YouTube video.
I know VVdi prog supports gliching the lock on some MCU's do you know if they are glitching a lock or if it was just unlocked?

No idea mate, I don't get into reading processors. I just remembered the thread because of so many requests for hour changes.

Good luck with it and hope to see it on your channel soon.

At present, I only know of one place in the US that can virgin/clone these clusters, white auto and media.

    Interesting project.

Thanks, Yeah I get requests about twice a month to do videos and I always tell them I only know one person who does and they want spill the beans on it. (White auto)

I am glad to know that the header that looks a lot like its for programming the MCU is in fact for programming the MCU. I was worried the BGA one might have to come off the board.

    Friend,

Many places can clone this MCU processor and do hours many just do not advertise this news.

this problem is old problem and can easily be fixed with publicly acailable NEC documents.

programmers exist for doing exactly what you do and more but they cost enigma money

Could you please provide the source of the documents you are referencing? I say that because Renesas is saying they will only provide a datasheet and user manual if I can prove I ordered the Microcontroller from them.
