Hello, i currently own mpps, kessv2, ktag clone tools, and ever since purchasing the tools i have issues trusting the tools with newer cars like EDC17 etc even though not having issues bricking ecu's or anything. Also the fact that most ECU's i need to open and read via Boot is a bit of a hassle. And was looking for a cheap tool that i can have some more confidence in using that can get me thru till i can afford a tool like autotuner.

I came across PCMFlash with scanmatik pro 2. I see that you have to purchase modules and it supports VR files. Anyone with experience or pro's and cons about this tool? I'm wondering if its worth purchasing or should i just stick to my clone tools for now until i can purchase a tool like AutoTuner or Flex.

pcm flash full costs same not less,maybe more than autotuner master bro.Almost Same capabilities,BUT you can just activate the modules you need,so you can save some money.
its good,no issues and fast.
I have flex slave.Very fast too,and easy with new ecu.

Hi. Ori Pcmflash is ok. It does quite a lot. Most of them need to be taken on the table and bench mode. Honestly, I don't know what brands or what ecu do you do? But that is what I would buy a Flex. Or ori Kess and Ktag. There is even cheaper Transdata. Provided that ori. Clones are not working properly. I have found out more than once on this. Pcmflash is good for the price, but if you count the modules separately, it will also come out a bit + the device.

I mostly work with VAG vehicles and sometimes Mercedes, Renault, Land Rover. So purchasing the modules for specific groups would not be a major issue for me as i do not have a massive variety of cars that i do.

I was looking at Flex but a slave tool wouldn't be right for me as that would mean i would not be able to edit the files myself and would need someone with a master tool. Also Flex has an subscription after the first year. That's why i am leaning towards AutoTuner as it has no modules to purchase or any subscriptions but has a slighty higher cost.

Yeah. You can check yourself Transdate. It's good for the price too. Just not Chinese fakes. Flex is very good only with this subscription.
