Yes/no
if it happens then would think by manufacturers.
GUESSING. Poking this wire on a brand ok
but doing the same on b brand will kill or maim you, loss of arm, blind deaf etc
we at mhm are NOT interested but on the forum yes

Hi
Yes would be a good idea to have a sub forum for
1 hybrid
2 electric

Would like to bump above post, but still say manufacturer listing
even if for copyright just. “Cars a-h. Cars m-z”
PARTLY ON TOPIC:-
I want/wanted to do a basic plumbing course
“this is a tap, this is a pipe” 1/2 day £50 nothing hard just basics
nothing all £600 and 12 weeks, but electric car you can get ‘trained’
in two days! Or less
as for the imi (tossers) techsafe(tm). Guy I know brought a car off him
he on the register as tech safe (tm). Would not trust him with a torch and 6 volt
battery.
he ‘recently’ had an issue with a car & didn’t understand
“change this sensor here” & was incapable of doing it ( and other stuff)

Hi
As you said any ideas
Maybe a sub forum for just virgin dumps. They are precious.

Very good idea indeed.
Maybe These cars, would be the 80% in the market in a few years, maybe not.
We can be prepared though![]()
I've also heard some guys already "repairing succesfully" hybrid batteries that cost 5k and till even 15k euros
If i Helped you,use thanks and rep button to thank me back
You right batteries are being repaired.
Tools needed seems to be chisel hammer and hacksaw.
But it works
volodin69 (7th January, 2022)
Yes, we can repair batteries and their parts, but the lack of spare battery parts is a big problem.
in my opinion sub forum for hv cars is good idea.
I'm really surprised that only a few members replied on this post. Post your views.
As a good thing that doesn't come alone, this will be good and constructive. I do electronics, all types of it..
2 years ago i've received a Tesla charging module and i didn't know is a car module. It have been presented to me as a power chopper module. I repaired it well and got some little money for it, me, thinking is a common module. But after the customer said the car works ok, I was crazy for not asking more money for my work.
So, for those are sailing in this forum, will be a good info even some pics from the modules ect... for the stupid people (like I was then), to know what they are dealing with.

Like fuzz1 said , maybe a general electrical help...
Think is kind of useful for the average Joe to get some info on battery power switch location
Electric might be the future, the way global politics push "green"
Only issue, the way I see it is that too many untrained / uninformed work on these cars
A failure will not appear till a unit has passed final inspection
Was ahead of my time when I asked where do they fit the safety switch on some nippon vans that are flooding my street.
This will be a section if somebody want to create some space in the forum.
Because pictures included in the manual are trivial.
Another main question is: some electric cars could not be towed. How do I remove these from the street? ( Intact or destroyed )
Hi mates
Great thread to be a part of. Truly speaking, i have never seen or worked on a fully electric car like Tesla. But there are many partly electric cars from tata and mahindra running on indian roads with low to medium range. Then there are fake hybrids from suzuki which have a faux start stop system that switches off the engine when halted at a red light and fires it up as soon as the clutch is pressed. Although there are many road illegal make shift small cars running on outskirts with 48 volts battery pack and an electric fork lift motor with high torque but that is just insane and experimental. What i expect is approximately 80 percent 2 wheelers here to be electrified by next 3 to 5 years. The 4 wheeler market might take another 5 or more years. This is the expected indian market.
More thoughts and support is welcome.
Take care and stay safe

I've been working on a few hybrid models (toyota, honda, chevy, nissan) in the USA. Now I'm rebuilding a Tesla. This forum has only little information about them.
I would recommend having a subforum for ELECTRIC CARS.
There is no point having a subforum for hybrid. We have the infrastructure to recharge electric car so having a hybrid is mostly stupid. Because you will have 2 different type of motors to maintain and fix. (But if electricity is a problem, then you are stuck with hybrid. sorry)
Hybrid was good during the transition when there were no fast chargers. But now there is no point.
YOu could have googled the Part Number![]()
The tesla charging module is PCS or Power Conversion System. Used module are selling for $500-600 used on ebay. There are only a few failures but I'm sure in the future there will be more. You can find information on the internet. There are people who have custom made software and wires to run them. Very cool.
