Ktag external exception eefface error

Hi guys

I'm trying to get my VW touran 2.0 TDI back on the road.

I have an Ecu fault , bought another (all the same numbers), bought a Ktag(7.020) and using ksuite supplied ( v2.25) Hoping to do the IMMO Off as i damged the origional PCB tring to take it apart Learnt from my mistake and sucessfully opened the other one without any carnage.

ECU is an EDC17C46 i'm using Jtag/BDM interface with the 3 probes on the PC next to the tricore IC.

tried some other versions , i'm runnning windows 7 32bit with internet on and express VPN

Keep getting "external exception eefface error" when i select OK after the ecu selection page.

any ideas ??????

EEEFACE normally is problem accessing the SD card by the NXP processor.
