Immo off instrument cluster

Yes, is it in the intrument cluster, but here you can not make immo off. Only in engine ECU. Or copy immo data from old to new cluster. (FVDI a and next)

yes, your immobliser is n the cluster, you should adapt your new dash, or make immo off in ecu. instrment send message to ecu to start engine or not if you have problem with immo.

what tools do you have mate ...? yes in most vag group cars immo is in dash ...if you do immo off in ecu you have SAFE on dash(used dash) ..so you must buy some tools to do the job

Read pin code from new dash with tool . Read pin code from ecu or old dash.
Use VCDS adapt used dash to car. All this you have on ross tech web . Programm key and start car .
Follow instructions on ross tech mate you have tools to do that.

check your instrument, if is in two pieces, the back pcb is the immo, just exchange it.....

whats the problem of the ori cluster?

here's the file I was able to read from the instrument cluster used
i can read the chip of the two insttrument but have no program that can read them have 2 file 1 from old and 1 from new used cluster
i would have to change my vin in the new cluster and change odometer too old has 248310 miles and new 187580

the instrument is in two parts and eeprom on the back part is a 24c32 chip

the reason i want to put other instrument is that lcd screen becomes blurry
