Default Snap-on Battery support / charger help or opinion

Got this EEBC500-INT used which is the fancy charger on wheels. Plan was to use as support when programming ect.
Seems to have a issue with the output voltage surging 0.7volts at 30Hz.
First car connected to was 2017 nivara and at 14.2 volts in flash mode some relay in the fusebox was buzzing like mad ?
Dropped voltage to 13v and seemed fine after that.

Anybody else have this issue or using this unit during programming.
Maybe its not really a issue what do you guys reckon ?

Weird. Impressive connecting scope to it

Connect to a battery on the floor, leave an hour see what happens
sounds like might have a calibration pot heen knocked and is course

but could also be the way it works, checking the voltage is good 30 times a second
see if you can get user book for it

lift lid. Blow out with airline. Dust becomes conducting when damp

    are you near Blackpool?

Thanks Meat ! it was connected for 10 mins to just a battery on floor when I took that photo. since found a video on YT of some dude with a brand new one showing something very similar,
Guess its the way they are. Blackpool no about 750km east.
Remapping a mazda 3 tomorrow so will leave it connected for a hour and see if it improves

Ah ok not the one I thought it was.

makes sense, cooling fan kicks in or something it needs to know to up/down the power
used on eBay there £500 so new a lot more, for that money you expect it to be top notch

if you got a battery that belongs to someone you don’t like leave it on 24 hours, see if gets hot

Do I understand correctly that this is a power supply?
We have services, mostly BMWs are bought in Kyiv

It's good, but for me to give $ 350 is a lot. I came up with the idea of taking 50A blocks for $ 20, playing with them a little and they regulate the range 11-30V and the current is regulated 3-50A. All protections, the oscillogram is straight.
